Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Baunze, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

Baunze is a digital interior design application that allows users to upload photos of rooms, generate interactive 3D representations, experiment with layouts and furniture, and save projects.

The service is provided on a best-effort basis and may evolve, change, or be discontinued at any time.

Baunze offers free and paid tiers. Paid features include Pro and Premium subscriptions and scan token packs, available via the App Store, Google Play, or the Baunze website.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • all activity that occurs under your account

You must provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any photos, designs, or other content you upload ("User Content").

By using Baunze, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, analyze, and transform your User Content solely for the operation of your account and the improvement of the Baunze service.

We will not sell your personal room photos to third parties. User Content is not shared with other users without your explicit action.

5. Third-Party AI Services

The Beau AI design assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use Beau, your conversation messages are sent to Anthropic for processing. Room photos are processed on Baunze's own infrastructure and are not sent to third-party AI providers. By using Beau, you consent to this data processing. Anthropic's use of data is governed by their own privacy policy.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store, Google Play, or Stripe (web). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device settings or account page. Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective payment platform. Scan token packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Baunze service, including its AI models, 3D rendering technology, and software, remain the property of Baunze. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

8. AI-Generated Content & Physical Reality Disclaimer

Baunze uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to generate visualizations and suggestions.

All AI-generated outputs are:

  • illustrative only
  • non-binding
  • not professional advice

Baunze does not account for:

  • load-bearing or structural walls
  • electrical wiring or plumbing
  • building codes or regulations
  • material strength or weight distribution

Always consult a licensed professional before making physical changes to your home.

3D furniture models and layouts are representative only and may not be exact replicas of real-world products.

9. Data Storage & Availability

While we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your data, Baunze does not guarantee the permanent availability or storage of your projects, images, or designs.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of any content you consider critical.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Baunze is not responsible for physical, financial, or personal harm resulting from use of the service
  • design suggestions are used at your own risk
  • Baunze is not liable for damages caused by reliance on visualizations or AI-generated outputs

11. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content
  • attempt to access another user's data
  • abuse, scrape, or reverse engineer the service
  • use Baunze for illegal purposes

12. Termination

You may stop using Baunze at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • these Terms are violated
  • the service is abused
  • required by law or operational necessity

13. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data. Some information may be retained temporarily for legal or operational reasons.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
